چکیده

This paper describes a multiple sensor tracking simulation software package (MUST) developed by the Data and Information Group of CSSIP which is written in Matlab and C++. The aim of MUST is to assess the performance of a single-target multisensor tracker, the extended Kalman filter-probabilistic data association (EKF-PDA) tracker, under different target/sensor/environment scenarios. The simulator enables the user to specify the parameters of a single-target tracking scenario with multiple sensors. The simulator then generates the target trajectory and estimates the target trajectory from the asynchronous reports such as bearing, range, range rate and elevation angle from multiple sensors. Finally it evaluates the performance of the tracker under the specified scenario. This paper also presents some simulation results for different tracking scenarios.

A Gravitational Search Algorithm-Based Single-Center of Mass Flocking Control for Tracking Single and Multiple Dynamic Targets for Parabolic Trajectories in Mobile Sensor Networks

Developing optimal flocking control procedure is an essential problem in mobile sensor networks (MSNs). Furthermore, finding the parameters such that the sensors can reach to the target in an appropriate time is an important issue. This paper offers an optimization approach based on metaheuristic methods for flocking control in MSNs to follow a target. We develop a non-differentiable optimizati...

Multiple Target Tracking in Wireless Sensor Networks Based on Sensor Grouping and Hybrid Iterative-Heuristic Optimization

A novel hybrid method for tracking multiple indistinguishable maneuvering targets using a wireless sensor network is introduced in this paper. The problem of tracking the location of targets is formulated as a Maximum Likelihood Estimation. We propose a hybrid optimization method, which consists of an iterative and a heuristic search method, for finding the location of targets simultaneously. T...

Target Tracking Based on Virtual Grid in Wireless Sensor Networks

One of the most important and typical application of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is target tracking. Although target tracking, can provide benefits for large-scale WSNs and organize them into clusters but tracking a moving target in cluster-based WSNs suffers a boundary problem. The main goal of this paper was to introduce an efficient and novel mobility management protocol namely Target Tr...

Multiple Targets Tracking Using Kinematics in Wireless Sensor Networks

Target tracking is considered as one of the cardinal applications of a wireless sensor network. Tracking multiple targets is more challenging than tracking a single target in a wireless sensor network due to targets’ movement in different directions, targets’ speed variations and frequent connectivity failures of low powered sensor nodes. If all the low-powered sensor nodes are kept active in t...

Decentralized and Cooperative Multi-Sensor Multi-Target Tracking With Asynchronous Bearing Measurements

Bearings only tracking is a challenging issue with many applications in military and commercial areas. In distributed multi-sensor multi-target bearings only tracking, sensors are far from each other, but are exchanging data using telecommunication equipment. In addition to the general benefits of distributed systems, this tracking system has another important advantage: if the sensors are suff...
